To make base game provisoner links the workshop must be workshop parent registred for a unique ID.

The only workaround I know of to share inventory with standalone workshops is Global Stash.

If you'd like to hide the happiness bar, create a custom workbench container and add the actor value "WorkshopHideHappinessBarAV" to it.

I tend to cheat on happiness anyway lol They were scrabbling in the radioactive dust until I gave them beds and clean water and crops, they have no call to be unhappy. If they are that's their problem, not mine :)

Right now I have Sanctuary powered by a leaky fission reactor. If they don't like it they can leave and go back to playing with raiders. Vault 111 needs heavy industry support!

There's a way to have two settlements share resources. I'm pretty sure it's done by the primary settlement, the one with the trade routes, using the secondary settlement workbench as its WorkshopContainer. That way anything dropped off in the primary shows up in the secondary.

I know you say WorkshopContainer isn't needed anymore, but I've seen examples...someplace lol, of it being done.

Nah, not desperate, I just honestly don't like Global Stash. I understand why it works the way it does, I just find the double popping in and out of workbenches annoying :) And I do sort of like the supply line mechanics. I do a lot of work with the vanilla vaults, and setting them up to be mutually supporting without involving non-vault settlements is an interesting exercise, as structurally each vault is somewhat suited for one resource (water in 111, food in 75, etc.).

Ok SKK50, I figured it out. To get the workshops to share resources set up as follows.

Workshop in exterior cell

Workshop in interior cell

WorkshopContainer in interior cell.

Exterior Link Ref keyword WorkshopLinkContainer to Interior Workshop.

Interior Workshop Link Ref keyword WorkshopLinkContainer to interior cell WorkshopContainer

So Exterior > Interior > Container

That makes the workshops share resources.
