4powerd
I moved my Skyrim folder and the mods for that folder to an external hard drive to free up space, and now I cannot use Nexus mods, getting the error "Mods can't be deployed". Trying to fix the issue, it says that mods can't be deployed because "the current user account needs to be given write permission to "C:\Program Files(x86\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\"." The Skyrim folder no longer exists on my main drive (C:) as I moved it. I moved the mod and download folders for Skyrim over to this new drive, so I really don't know why this is happening. My current mod count is around 45, but I'd say only 38 or so are active. I should mention that I'm also having other issues, going from top to bottom. "LOOT operation failed" Hitting more gives me this: "The system cannot find the path specifiedcause.code: 3cause.path: c:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Datacause.func: Loot::sortPluginscode: 3path: C/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Datafunc: Loot::sortplugnis" I don't remember installing LOOT, so unless it's something that comes with Vortex, I have no idea where this is coming from "Missing Masters": This is just flat out saying I don't have Skyrim and the DLCs installed, makes no sense. There are some other things, but they're all saying the same thing, they can't reach the non-existent Skyrim folder. I'm convinced that the issue is Vortex trying to grab info from a folder that doesn't exist, but then again I could be completely wrong. Even if that was the case, I have no idea how to fix it. Pickysaurus
You need to point the game to the new path in the Games tab (manually set location option in the menu on the game tile). Also you'll need to ensure your new drive has an NTFS file system.
4powerd
Ah, that's the problem then, my external drive doesn't have NTFS, I don't know how to fix that, so I'm just gonna move everything back to where it used to be.
