HanskaX
Hello.I'm just starting to re-play FO3 and as I was going trough the mods I saw lots of dogmeat retexes but not the one I want. I have a belgian shepard malinois myself and as it is a common "service dog"(or what you'd call it in english) and fits the generic shepard shape of Dogmeat id really like one as a companion. If anybody could do me the favor I'd apprciate it.Google search of "malinois" brings tons of ref pictures and here is a fev shots of my beloved "Kira"http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x60/Kumijuna/kippu1_zps130d9499.jpghttp://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x60/Kumijuna/kippu2_zpsb067d84d.jpghttp://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x60/Kumijuna/kippu3_zps205e498d.jpg The retex would be more than enough but if you can edit the dialogue to fit a female dog it would be giganormously cool. apaosha
You retextured Dogmeat IRL! There is a Unique Dogmeat mod: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/5748//? Not exactly like your dog, though. I guess you could convert the texture files from.dds to an editable format, fiddle with the hue/saturation/colour balance till it's about right, convert them back to .dds and paste them into the unique dogmeat folders. HanskaX
Thanks for the reply Apaosha. Since posting the original request I've been bitten by the modding bug. I have currently the unique dogmeat mod and I found a retex pack that includes a yellow white bellied dog texture that would make a good start.I've also learned some basics of geck, nifscope and dl:ed the dds pluging for gimp.I've already made (edited) my characters textures and body replacer to be unique so it seems I'm doing this retex myself. Who knows might be the first mod I post in nexus.
