TheOuroborus
I won't be buying any expansions as long as it's through Windows LIVE. I'm very disappointed in Bethesda for only offering PC gamers this option. My excitement over the game has been greatly diminished. I'll pop in a few more user created mods, but for the most part I'm done. 360 users don't need to chime in on this as it doesn't concern you. That'll be easy for me as I have to use dial-up for my net connection & G4WL is broadband only. So I went as far as uninstalled the Live junk that Beth so kindly hid in the 1.1 patch & put in Timeslip's "Dummy" DLL. I get the feeling they're saying "No Soup for YOU!" (remember Seinfeld) to alot of people who would buy the DLC otherwise.
Coneman
I said no to G4WL when I installed the game as most other PC users did, having it jammed down my throat in the patch just annoyed me. When I uninstaled it and my game didnt run made me angry. I ended up doing the same and using Timeslips dummy DLL. I wonder how long before we will need to buy a G4WL membership so we can get download content.
frankc
I wonder how long before we will need to buy a G4WL membership so we can get download content. Bethesda knows what makes them money. They still sell copies of Oblivion based *solely* on the strength of the mod community - they wouldn't kill that golden goose, I can't imagine that there is anything MS could offer them to make the proposition attractive. Conscripted
Holy Smokes. I haven't been playing FO3 lately because I installed it to make room for Maple Story (may the IPU forgive me). Even though I'm not playing it right now, it angers me as much as anyone else that Beth would do this.
Ikyoto
Their decision to not equally support the platforms the game is sold on has changed my decision to purchace the PC version and deal with them until they stop kissing MS's butt. They just lost a customer - see yah.

MS is taking a cut off the top of all their DLC sales and they're losing sales from people like me who don't want to participate in the Microsoft Points scam. I really, really, really want to buy the DLC. It all looks great to me, even Op Anchorage which I know some people were disappointed with. But I'm not going to buy from MS. I want to buy from Bethesda. I want my money going to the people who made the DLC, not some middle-man that's using its stranglehold on the platform to force game publishers to submit to their racket. My hope is that Bethesda will eventually package all three DLCs together and sell it direct off their website. That's the only way I'll ever buy this stuff.
