CBBE, BBP, CB++, wtf... Any recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I've been playing around with some of the -many- female body mods out there. And I run into several problems - BBP not working at all, armors not matching the underlying body at all (character's body looking drastically different when wearing armor compared to when not wearing armor) and so on.

What I'd like to have:

- BBP

- CBBE (or equivalent) Body

- CB++ sliders

- Armor that respects the values of the CB++ sliders

Can anybody recommend a "default" setup of some sort that causes the least amount of trouble? There's so much stuff going on, it's so easy to get lost or include something that breaks something else...

Thanks,

Alan

One road I went down on was...

1) Install CBBE: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666/? - chose body type during installation - probably BodySlide for you

2) Install CHSBHC: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4888/?

3) Install CBBE vanilla armours mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12273/?

Note that the first two mods are made to be compatible - read the third FAQ on the CBBE mod descriptions page for instructions.

There will be other ways and other mods to chose from, but this is an example of one approach.

That installation order is incorrect. By installing CHS after CBBE, you're just removing all of the CBBE files - might as well have never installed it.

1. Install the BBP body. In this case, it's CHS, but the UNPB skeleton/animations are the recommended ones.

2. Install CBBE. This will overwrite the hand/foot meshes of the BBP body, and the textures for hands/feet/body.

3. Install CB++. I don't use it, but I'm assuming it works in pretty much the same way as BodySlide when it comes to BBP.

4. Use CB++ (read the mod description/readme) to generate the BBP meshes.

5. (Optional) Install BBP/CB++ compatible outfits. Read how to use them if you do. There is a small list of CB++ outfit mods in the CBBE Compatible Files thread.

Oops, my bad - you're correct Jeir. Aplogies to the OP for error, but I did point out the right direction with the CBBE FAQ / guide!

It's been a while since I've had wobbly bits in Skyrim
