MarkVoided
So I've been playing skyrim on the PC for a few months now and its very enjoyable. Mods and the like make things great but..I've always wondered about ENB's. Mostly I wonder if my computer can even handle one. I'm able to run skyrim at its medium and high settings (although I stick to medium cause I tend to lag a bit more on high), but I can't do Ultra, that's just..overkill for my system. But, I'm wondering what kind of ENB I could/should use, if at all. GPU: GeForce 9800M GTSCPU: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHzMemory: 8.00 GB RAM Anything ENB you fine people could recommend for these specs? If at all? prod80
Well, ENB will be hard on your system, but best way is to try... These come with Performance options next to all out performance hungry settings... - Project ENB http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20781/- RealVision ENB http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30936/ And if those performance options are too heavy, you can try this:- Ultimate Lighting Overhaul (based on SweetFX, which is also a post processor like ENB): http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37846/ which should be used with Realistic Lighting Overhaul and has a very light impact on performance (max ~10% FPS loss on it's best settings) Read mod pages for requirements, tho RealVision's requirements for textures can be ignored by you (that will be too heavy) ... only you'll need the Lighting mod and Weather mods (RLO + CoT)... Kraeten
RealLike ENB is pretty darn friendly performance wise, especially considering my old toaster can handle it.

With those specs you don't really need performance friendly anymore... Go try out this one: Project ENB - Cinematic Preset ... it's heavy but looks good. RealVision is heavier even and looks completely different color wise... ENB's are easy to install/uninstall.. just make sure you remove all installed files from the Skyrim folder before installing the next as they are not compatible with eachother's files - even if the file name is identical.
