is there a mod that allow a follower to be invisible/walk through?

i want my follower to be invisible or even able to walk through them giving me a much easier time

Followers -do- tend to get in the way a lot. I honestly avoid having a companion for that exact reason.

 

However, removing collision from an NPC like that may cause problems with how they interact with the world and how the world interacts with them. I've turned collision off on NPCs and objects before, and...well...the world went wibbly-wobbly.

if you toggle their collision they can fall through the floor and get all messed up. An idea though, why not open up the CK and make a quick spell to make them invisible, that way when you're sneaking they will be too but invisible so they should be less of a nuisance when they get you caught while sneaking.

 

You could either make it a potion, poison, enchanted item or spell.

Amazing Follower Tweaks has a sneak mode option for followers that prevents them from being detected by enemies and initiating combat. Then there's Come together N Out of the way to get them to move out of the way sooner when you bump into them.
