Fallout 3 black screen

So, I went to start a new game in Fallout 3 yesterday, and i got a black screen. I can't find anything on the internet about it, Iv'e re-installed the game twice, uninstalled all my mods and checked the game files, I cant find out whats wrong :(

Can someone help?

HI dylangrey,

remember a similar kind of problem on other user and if i remember correctly the solution was to reset default setting on video card pannel, you can try......good luck.

Could you supply your install path and system specs? Also, disabling themes when the game is launched might help. Is there a special reason the game is not displaying over the entire screen?

The game is on windowed mode so i could print screen cause i'm too lazy to do a screenshot on steam.

Have you made the game Large Address Aware so that it uses more than 2GBs of RAM?

I would suggest that you set your graphics to the lowest settings to see if you can get the game started.
