jack63ss Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Is there a process to manually uninstall Creation Kit from SSE without using Steam ? I Installed it using the instructions for Porting Skyrim mods to Skyrim Special Edition, but am having issues with CK hanging when I try to Exit, so I want to reinstall and try again. Thanks Note: I said not using Steam because I uninstalled CK for vanilla Skyrim (not SE) using Steam and it totally removed SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>Skyrim. Blew away the whole game. :mad:
IsharaMeradin Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 I would think you can just uninstall the SSE CK through the Bethesda Launcher that was required in order to get the SSE CK. Just back up your data folder and verify the game with Steam afterwards as a precaution.
thumbincubation Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Creation Kit should show up separately from Skyrim SE, in your Apps & Features menu, if you're on Windows 10.
NexusComa2 Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 CK has a crash issues due to sound. If the sound is on it will crash from time to time. If the sound is off it will hang on exit.But it is 100% stable and the hang on exit will not hurt anything. Be thankful it's not crashing while you're working.
