chocolatenoodle
I got Skyrim looking better than ever on my machine with some ENB goodness, but with everything else looking amazing the lone remaining visual annoyance only stands out more: SHADOW DISTANCE. Good-looking shadows have to have short draw distance, which looks stupid when you're running around outside. Increase the draw distance and they look bad up-close. Does anyone know of a working shadows overhaul?
LargeStyle
I personally run my fShadowDistance at 7500 because I look at the world around me more than just staring at shadows. This combined with ENBs detailed shadows, and shadow quality fix results in what I regard to be a very acceptable setup. Oh, and if you don't know, shadows are rendered on CPU (for some daft reason) so there's very limited modding opportunity here other than .ini tweaks and using ENB.
