Smosh
The ! means the game isn't reading your texture files correctly. Download ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated and see if that fixes your problems.
SoftPants
It's not necessary ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. Sometimes it happens to me when I try to install my file too fast... I forget to unzip my files a the right place and I use Fomm so when I'm trying toplay new weapon I just loaded from a mod it gives that error... (Just simply reinstall ur file the right way)

frankc
I thought fomm has some hidden magic that forces the game to invalidate everything in data without the need to mess with a text file or create your own dummy .bsa I'd check both, first make sure your textures and meshes actually got unpacked in the right directories - depending on how the author packed the archive it can be easy to miss and wind up with data/somemod/data/texture when it should be in data/texture, if that still doesn't work then use archiveinvalidated invalidated, if that *still* doesn't work then do a reboot - I've had a very rare problem with corrupt data being cached. frankc
No magic, when you toggle invalidation it adds or removes the dummy .bsa Ah okay, I checked for a dummy file with that setting and didn't see one, so I figured they must use some other method (like modifying a timestamp or maybe even some sort of fose style intercept of the check). I guess I just didn't look hard enough.
Michlo
Also, be careful how you title subjects like this. The mod manager can't really cause this problem after all and the author could get rather upset. The mod manager is simply loading what you have told it to load, it can't hide meshes, etc. :) Cheers.
