I used to be a Christian, until I started questioning why I believed in it. After serious research, I came to the conclusion that organized religion has no factual basis to support itself, and that most people who believe in it have never stopped long enough to question the history behind their faith. I believe that there are good things to say about many religions, but no religion has all the answers.

me too. (Christian)

i am 100 % sure that i am going to heaven. not because of the fact that im a Christian, but because God Himself said that the blood of Jesus Christ wipes away all the wrong that i did, i do, and will ever do.

thats my salvation.

I dont really have a religion as such, more a philosophy or moral guide i stick to as best i can, Its basically the one rule of Paganism (which my parents are Pagens or another term is 'wiccan') and that rule is: Do as you will as long as it hurts none.

I am a Christian. Not that I attend any specific church, or hold a specific doctrine set by "the church", but that I follow the teachings in the Bible, believe in God, pray, and do in general what any real Christian should be doing with their life.

Screw religion. Embrace Jesus. That's a very good motto to have in Christianity - Organized religion has become something that it shouldn't. Churches form their own doctrine apart from the real doctrine God has dictated. There are a few good churches out there... but I haven't encountered one yet. :(

I feel the same way. I am an episcopalin. But then they elected an openly gay bishop. And I wanted to vomit. Not to mention the catholics with their child molestors. I pray alot. But never go to church.

Mod Note: Hey, that wasn't very nice of you towards Catholics...
