monesq Posted September 10, 2021 Share Posted September 10, 2021 I have to assume that this has not only happened in my games, but in at least two locations, dogmeat will not stop scratching nor sneezing, it is constant, The Castle and Sunshine Tidings. It is not game breaking or anything like that, and it can be somewhat amusing unless you are doing and extended settlement build. Anyone else experience this incessant scratching and sneezing? At both locations (s)he just does her/his regular idle show when I wait or enter build mode. Sniff the ground, rol, scratch & sneeze in no particular order. After a while (s)he starts playing with the bear toy, and keeps doing that until I exit build mode. Haven't checked elsewhere. It is interesting that the idle was included in the base game. That's an animation bug.. they can get stuck. Those are idle animations so the location doesn't matter. EDIT: there's an idle marker called "DogmeatIdleMarkerSniffScratch" but idle animations can be triggered on their own.
