alphachimera90
Not sure what happened, but a small steam patch downloaded and now SKSE 64 launches, the dialog box flashes on screen for a second, but it doesn't launch skyrim. If I go into the background processes, it shows an instance of skyrim running, but no active programs. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I really dont want to start fresh modding everything if I can avoid it.
showler
Can you launch without SKSE?
7531Leonidas
Check the last modified date of the Skyrim SE executable. If it is not very recent, then a game update has not thrown SKSE 64 for a loop. Then, verify your game files in Steam The update may have fouled one of the game files. Finally, you could re-install SKSE 64, and see if that changes anything.

showler
Right click on the SkyrimSE.exe file and see what the version number is. However, if it was a Skyrim update causing the issue, SKSE should pop up a box telling you the version is incorrect, I believe. You could also try launching the settings widget and change from full screen to windowed or vice versa.

I hope I dont have to re mod everything.
