Stardew Mods not working

So I downloaded a bunch of mods for stardew valley, and they should. Be working. I have Stardew activated on vortex, all of the mods are enabled, I have SMAPI, (which is needed for all the game's mods,) and when I check the game's files itself, all the mods are installed. Yet for some reason when I boot up the game, none of the mods are working, and I'm more or less running vanilla Stardew. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Do you get any red error messages in the SMAPI log? Are you starting the game via SMAPI?
