LordPariah
What is the Best borderless window mod? And is there a FOSE based one like in Skyrim? I'd like it to work with steam - I've already searched a bit but cant find one that works at all!
prensa
LordPariah - Hello!I've used "Fake Fullscreen Mode Windowed - Alt Tab Fix by BUDA20" for ages & it works perfectly:http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16001/?BUDA20 has also made an updated version, "GameCompanion - Alt Tab Fix Gamma Screenshots and more" that can be found here:http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16478/?That newer one provides other options & settings as well as the borderless window feature of the original. Both versions work with FOSE but do not require it to work.Hope this helps!Prensa

demarnem
I am about to start a replay.Anyone tried Borderless Gaming?https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-GamingI used it with other games. It cuts down the bars (which is ok) and then it stretches the image (which causes a little distortion).I can live with the small distortion, but I wonder about Fallout 3's stability.Any experience would be welcome.Thank you! Borderless Gaming certainly doesn't stretch the image based on my experience.
seppesusi
What currently is the recommended option? The BUDA20's releases have a standalone executable and I wouldn't expect that to work flawlessly with FOSE and any mods relying on the script extender...EDIT: I've had a great experience with OneTweak so far. iriemk
Just my 5 cents: Windowed Borderless Gaming. Works like a charm, no distortion, and it's one less plugin in the load order.
Elyseon
So far OneTweak has turned out to be the less inconvenient option since it allows borderless full screen and in the event that the game freezes again I'm still able to alt-tab and go to the task manager to kill the process. All the other solutions meant I was forced to restart or sign out. Still no end in sight for the freezing though.
