sikamikanico117
I've explored Vvardenfell inside and out and have beaten Morrowind several times; with a Nord, an Argonian, and a Khajitt. After almost 1,000 hours of play time, being called an outlander (for at least the first part of the game) is really starting to grate me, so i'm wondering if someone can answer a question for me? If I play as a Dark Elf (Dunmer), who are native to Vvardenfell, will i finally get a little respect and not be called names (or maybe a different name), or will everyone still give me the shaft and call me outlander?!?!?! Switch
Afraid not :P you'll still be called Outlander just the same. Even though you're a Dark Elf you still weren't born in Vvardenfell.
sikamikanico117
Thanks alot Switch. I guess now i won't feel so bad killing the tribunal and stealing from everyone i see!
Jenlyn Fayre
Yeah, I guess Vvardenfellians are a prejudiced lot... I mean, heck-- you have to bribe them to get them to like you!
Slaiv
Or just kill them. Wait, how would they know you're an outlander if you're a dark elf? [i know they still call you one, but it's not like they could tell just by looking.]
NCBeachBum
I would assume they could tell by accents and speech patterns..... there's precious little physical difference between an Englishman and an American, for instance, but you know which is which as soon as they open their mouth. Alexander the Great
OOh, well thought out, but im just guessing they call everyone outlander. They see their neibhor of 10 years and their still saying "Why hello outlander"
VaanicOne
NC beachburn is right, an outlander can be told apart from Vvardenfellians, purely because of accent alone. If you have tribunal, you will notice how everyone has a different accent in Mournhold, especially the Cyrodills!
