Can someone help?

Recommended Posts

Hi I just recently downloaded FO3 off of steam. I played the ever living hell out of fallout 3 on ps3 and my ps3 died so I got it on steam. Well I am trying to get some mods for it and I downloaded Archive Invalidation, NMM, FOSE, FMM (which I can't get to work), and a couple other programs that the mods required to download. I used BOSS to check what load order to have it in but every time I load up FO3, the game crashes instantly or i will hear the first slide click of the intro screen and then it crashes. I don't know if this affects anything but when I was activating the mods on NMM when it said there was a new version do you want to upgrade, yes, or no to install the mod normally, I clicked no to install it normally and then when things would pop up when the mod was installing I would click yes to all. Here is the load order list I exported from NMM. Do I have them in the wrong order or are some conflicting with each other?

Please help if you can and if not thanks for looking at the post and attempting to try to help.

By the way, FO3 was working fine for me before adding mods and I was running it on max settings with no frame drops. I am confused on how to get this to work with the mods, short of uninstalling everything and trying again.

You have compatibility patches and do not have the master file for Project Beauty. Delete the patches. Use only one restore tracers, you do not need both. Delete the unofficial patches and get the updated one.

Thank you, I appreciate the info. I uninstalled everything and will reinstall and follow the forums you posted. I am new to adding mods to pc games so I knew I had done something wrong, just wasn't sure what. I usually just play em in vanilla but I have done everything in the vanilla of FO3 and wanna redo with mods. Now hopefully I can, thank you again :)
