Greetings from Western Oregon USA

Hi there from Oregon USA. I'm 50 and a college instructor (computer technology). One of my students introduced me to morrowind. As I've said in other threads, all of RPG is new to me.

I am old enough (that's for sure) to remember playing text-based Dungeon game. It had no graphics whatsoever. This was before windows... It wasn't that much fun really. My son played DnD games which interested me, but there wasn't time in my schedule for all that info to absorb. It is fascinating to consider what has grown out of that! Morrowind is fantastic!

I have found this site to be THE source of mw info for me. I wish there was a place to ask some very very basic questions. Perhaps this is it.

My character was a breton mage. I started all over with another breton adventurer with the Atronach sign, which is very cool so far. I'm struggling with loading plugins-- many simply crash MW immediately. Not fun.

Hi there, have fun, chill and don't go swimming in Crater Lake in December!

There are so many mods you are bound to get conflicts. If you wish to PM me with possible problems I can pass on my experiences to date. I won't post this on the forum because it can lead to too many snide asides about the creators of the mods from other forum members.

Welcome to the forums, have fun and don't spam ;)

Wow, 50 eh? Don't worry, you're not the oldest who's been here :P we had a 60 year old once! Seems Morrowind is truly for all ages.
