Nothign burns in lava other then people, but you can place books and other such things in lava to make bridges.

That's only in Morrowind.

If you base real life on Morrowind insted of the other way around, than you need your head checked.

Well, yeah, this entire THREAD is about morrowind.

Beast races cannot wear shoes. This is because they have humongous, smelly feet that need to be aired out constantly. Because of this, no beast race can ever use the boots of blinding speed, which is too bad if you play a slow lizzard or cat person.

There are only 3 books that will work for a bridge over lava. One is like the Consolidations of Prayer or something... Its in the players guide, but none of the other books will work.

Anything that is sentient in the game will burn in lava, even powerful Ash Vampires.

But you can run across lava without doing that much damage to your health. (I don't suggest running along it.)

An excerpt from the book entitled 'Mysticism' by Tetronius Lor:

"For centuries, mostly during the Second Era, scholarly journals published theory after theory about the aspect or aspects of magicka lumped together under Mysticism. In the Mages Guild's tradition of finding answers to all things, respected researchers suggested that Mysticism's penultimate energy source was the Aetherius Itself, or else Daedric Beings of unimaginable power -- either rationale would explain the seemingly random figurations of Mysticism. Some even ventured that Mysticism arose from the unused elements of successfully, or even unsuccessfully, cast spells. Discussion within the Order of Psijics after Artaeum's reappearance has led some scholars to postulate that Mysticism is less spiritual in nature as was originally supposed, and that either the intellect or the emotional state of the believer is sufficient to influence its energy configuration and flow. "

That's really interesting to me that mysticism is different from the other schools of magic in that it may come from emotions or intellect, and the theories about mysticism coming from the remnants of casted or failed spells. Coooool.

Sload Soap is considered a animal product. Which leads to the question...what is a sload?

A cross between a sloth and a toad??

I believe the Sload is some sort of distant cousin to the Argonians that's found at Black Marsh... a sort of lizard creature that's not believed to be intelligent. I'm not 100% sure though, I'm sure there's a book somewhere in game that has some proper background info on them.

I believe the Sload is some sort of sentient, found in Thrass. Sload soap is produced from the non-sentient young. One thing that Sloads are known for is necromancy---for some reason, they import slaves and corpses. (It is said you can buy anything in Senchal) It is possible that the repercussions of the Thrassian Plague affected them, since I think I remember something about a punitive expedition being launched.
