Custom Mesh in Blender not appearing in Nifskope

To keep it simple,

I took the baseballbat.nif and edited it according to how I wanted it to look, when exported into nifskope the changes I made to the shape of the model apply.

However, with these changes, I also implemented metal studs into the mesh. I made "baseballbat" the parent of the studs in the blender hierarchy, and even gave it the same texture of the baseballbat.nif.

When I export the nif in blender, I enable "Flatten Skin" and disable "Stripify Geometries".

Opening the file in Nifskope, the metal studs appear in the hierarchy on the left hand side of the program, but in the object window they aren't there. The only thing that can be seen is my edited baseballbat mesh.

I am using the newest version of Blender, the one that can be downloaded through steam. I attempted to use version 2.49 as suggested by a Nexus Tutoral, but NifScripts isn't available to download from SourceForge or GitHub anymore so I can't follow the steps to a T.

Because of this, I opted to just use the newest version of blender. I use the NetImmerse/Gambryo addon that you have to manually install along with it.

If someone has a different link to the NifScripts download I would use that, but without it, is there anyway I can get my metal studs to show up in Nifskope/in-game.
