Can't find ENB v0.243 anywhere

I got the Legendary, I don't know what I did in set up as I never encountered this before, but I get a red text with ENBhost.exe not found. The google searches keep pointing me to get v0.243.

I tried an enb years ago but I don't know what. I just install my mods from an Archive that goes back 12 years. What is the version that I should use?

Ah okay, so you already had it installed from many years ago. So were you just using it to improve performance? Go to your Skyrim install location (steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim) and remove the d3d9.dll if there is one and any file name starting with enb (enbhost, enbseries, etc).

Go to the ENB website and download the latest (459). Don't install everything from that download. Follow the instructions at the STEP website. There's a wealth of information at that site.

Once again, it depends on what ENB you are going to install.

I just have ENBoost installed on Legendary and use 449 as later ENBs have conditions for installation, if I remember correctly.

One very good tutorial, in my opinion is on the Legendary forum on Steam. If you go to the pinned topics at the top of the forum page and open "Player and Modding Resources" by Ilja and scroll down to "ENB 101-Under the Wrapper" by Avrie, it is a very good basic explanation on installing and configuring a ENB. While STEP has some very good tutorials I have found that some of their ini configurations really are only effective if you are following STEP from the beginning otherwise they are liable to be more of a problem than a solution.

One very good tool to have if you are going to be fooling around with ENBs is "FXAA ENB SweetFX Remover" you can use this to swiftly remove any ENB installed without having to go into your Skyrim directory and remove those files manually. It also keeps a backup of that ENB so you can reinstall it.

I went into skyrim console command and found that it is v0.349.

I noticed that the Legendary is missing from the supported ENB game list. Both 349 and 449 are not there.

"ENBhost.exe process failed" that file is missing. I probably lost bits'n pieces over the years as most of my mod archive storage were made up of loose files so that I could manually copy/paste. Finding enbhost.exe may fix this problem. If not, I will try the latest recommended version and see what happens.
