Undead floating in mid-air

Hi there,

I've seem to have come across a strange issue.

My undead monsters (Draugr & Skeletons) seem to float once they are killed. When Draugr's are killed while sleeping, their bodies stiffen and start floating in mid-air.

When I kill skeletons, they remain intact and begin to run in mid-air.

While the mobs are still dead and floating, I can access their inventory.

This is really starting to bug me because it's taking away from the "lore" (I guess you can call it that).

I'm curious if the custom skeleton I installed would do this.

I installed Dual Sheath Redux and needed to install a custom skeleton in order to have the shield show up on my characters back (was previously underneath his feet like a surfboard)

Has anyone come across this issue at all?

Thanks for the help.

*bump*

My game has a similar issue aswell.

Though it only happens when I (or my companion) use a bow to kill them. Just like with you, this only seems to happen with draugr or skeletons.

They die, then just float in the air while trying to walk.

Im having this problem aswell..ive only encountered Draugr thus far,but im sure the same problem will occur with skeletons also. Once i kill them they float in the air contiueing their "alive" animations..they are lootable, but man it wrecks the immersion completely. I have xp32 skeleton,Immersive Animations,Dual Sheath redux and Realistic Ragdolls and Force installed.

The weirdest thing is,everything else regarding the aformentioned mods works perfectly..its just Draugr (and skeletons aswell im sure). Tis a real head scratcher :/

Edit: Like the above poster,it only seems to happen when killing them with a Bow aswell..hmm.

I have exactly the same issue, but it does not only affect Draugr and Skeletons. I have Skyrim Immersive Creatures installed, and at least Ancient Spriggan Guardians (or w/e they are called) are affected, too. I have never seen it happen while using something else than a bow.

I found the solution atleast for my problem. It was the mod "Duel - Combat Realism" (Version 7.x beta)

Known bug:

- An issue with Draugr when hit by arrow may cause weird animation when they die. I'm working on a fix.

EDIT: Animation issue is due to a StopAnimation sent to shorten stagger with the new arrow system. I have to remove it and replace it with a spell. The fix will be available in the next release. I plan to upload it in the next few days.

I hope this might solve your issues aswell!

Nice find.

So... Does that mean that maybe the BETA file will not have this problem?
