sullyvanj93
Very quick question, just want to make sure I'm not missing how to do something: When creating a new recipe in the GECK, is it possible to have an OR ingredient? For example, I am creating a recipe that requires apples. I'm trying to make it so you can either use fresh apples OR dandy boy apples. Is this possible to do? I feel like I remember some vanilla recipes that do this, but can't recall for sure and can't find the option in the GECK. Thanks for your help in advance! laclongquan
I think you can 1. create separate recipe using different ingredients. Say 1a and 1b. Set them to hide if not having correct ingredients.2. create a single, uncraftable dummy recipe that mentions all the possible types of alcohol they can be made with. When you have both fresh apples and dandy boy apples, the two recipes will appear as two separate recipe with similar name, just diff req. ingredients. Radioactivelad
Ingredients cannot be ORs (or point to Formlists), unfortunately. They can point to Leveled Lists, but I wouldn't think that would work. As an addendum to the Visibility Trickery above though, you could use a unobtainable item called "Fresh Apple OR Dandy Apples" in your dummy recipe to communicate to the player that either item is accepted. sullyvanj93
Thank you both! That is a great suggestion, should be able to make it function correctly with that.
