PureSnipe
Thought it's about time I made known who I am. Name's Alec. Been playing SWG as of late, but when the company hosting it decided to go against the player's wishes, I canceled. Toons there were PureSnipe and -DarkFlame-, so some may know me from there. XBL tag is LeadenSilence, and usually PureSnipe on any other PC game. Not too great here with modeling and skinning, but if ya need someone to critique a weapon model, let me know, as I've shot or held almost every gun known to man. Onto the real life now....Junior in HS, meaning I'm 17, and going to major in Nuclear Engineering at a state college. Enlisting in the USMC for them to pay for some college and so I can serve this great country we call the United States of America. I'll link to a photobucket pic of myself, as is custom for me to do in every other forum I introduce myself in. Own 2 AR-15s, one of which there's a picture of in my main photobucket album. Now that my spiel is done, I'll be nosing around the various threads seeing if there's any way I can contribute. Modders, feel free if you want to hit me up via email or PM for pics of any of my guns. I own a grand total of 9 actual rifles, 4 handguns and 2 shotguns, one of which is a tactical version. Also have an EOTech sight on one AR, and a high-power scope with precision marksman parts.Probably not often that you run into someone whose had real-life experience with most of the guns people model, so make the best of it!! :PPhotoBucket link: http://i46.photobucket.comRifle is in the root folder. LHammonds
Howdy. Oh, that's right...we've already met. ;) Here in Texas, we all own guns. If a Texan doesn't own a gun, we simply ignore them and consider them slaves to the government. LOL. I love my EOTech on my AR-15 http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee11/Conan_Lon/AR15.jpg And here is my latest toy which is perfect for concealed carry: S&W 642 http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee11/Conan_Lon/SW642-1.jpg LHammonds
PureSnipe
Very nice AR. What manufacturer? The sheen on the upper and lower receivers lead me to believe it's a Colt. And yes, we do consider gun owners here in Texas to be slaves of the government. Advantage to living in a ranching area an hour north of Houston: can shoot anytime I want by walking into the backyard :PHere's my Bushmaster Varminter with a Magpull precision stockhttp://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f104/PureSnipe/bushmaster-1-1.jpgWill get a picture of my Benelli Super Nova with an M16 style stock and pistol grip sometime. Love the thing, it's painted in the original desert camo. Kicks like a mule though.

LHammonds
Nope, it's a customized Bushmaster .223 I looked at that model for a longer range rifle but I am still in the market looking for a decent and low-cost rifle. Looking for a .308 that can punch through an engine block if necessary. ;) LHammonds
PureSnipe
If ya don't mind spending the extra pennies, go with the DPMS LRT-SASS. That's my next rifle. It already has all of the precision parts on it.Police Magazine Review on DMPS LRT-SASS
