Vindekarr
If this is the wrong place to post this, go right ahead and move/delete, it's just idle curiosity on my part. I like writing, I've been wanting to post some fanfics and short stories I have lying around. The problem is, while I know where to post them, I haven't been able to find the rules for what OK and what's not OK to post, and obviously I shouldn't post until I do. So my question is simple; what are the ground rules for posting writing on the Nexus, and my suggestion is even simpler, which is that someone sticky the guideines in Druid's Garden. Thanks in advance! Lisnpuppy
Well....there isn't any special rules posted anywhere though you are right, there needs to be. Now...typically things need to stay within the normal grounds of posting here though there is a bit more wiggle room (similar to the debates section). However I recently had someone ask about this as they wish to post a story with some minor foul language, a bit of violence and that kinda thing. No strong sexual situations. I told them that as long as it wasn't like NC-17 or had strong sexual content (no to that IMO) that I was ok with it if they put in their post that in the story there was adult content/language and then put the writing in a spoiler tag. No one has complained about this and it seemed a logical solution. I can give you a link to it if you want to look. A few of us are working to revise some rules and stickies and things around here. This is something we can add to the list. Basic Druid Garden posting guidelines. Of course Dark0ne can come and comment if there is more of which I am not aware! :P
