PureSnipe
After I updated DirectX, I started having the weird texture bugs where random NPCs appear purple, some weapons are missing textures randomly, etc. Any ideas on what to do to fix this? I'm using an alpha version of a DX10 emulation running on XP.(Note, I didn't see anywhere in the terms and conditions stating that something like this was against the rules. If it is considered piracy to use DX10 on XP, let me know and I'll have the post removed and won't make mention of this again. Don't want to be breaking any rules here.) (which I hope you didn't do) secondly, there's a number of reasons why you're having problems 1) you did say the Emu was an alpha build, alpha programs typically have issues 2) Fallout 3 is a DX9 title there's no telling how it's going to do being forced to run in a new way Even in Vista I think it uses DX9. IMHO I'm surprised it's even playable on your computer in that situation
PureSnipe
Okay, had no idea that it was marked as a DX9 game, heh. Yeah, the texture bugs are a minor inconvenience, as it actually happens rarely. And the DX10 for XP is just a project of some code monkey who felt like porting it to XP. I can live with the purple people though, since it makes my DX10 capable games appear amazing.
