So I am running AE on my PC. Which version of SKSE should I be using? I am getting the "out of date" error.

Mods will be in the same state for you regardless of whether you buy SE or the AE bundle. It's the game version that is causing the delays and they use the same version.

 

If the CC content bundle interests you, buy the AE bundle. It won't make a difference mod wise.

Ok thanks. No idea what the CC bundle really offers even after reading about it still dont. I've always just modded games here at Nexus.

Depends what you prefer really.

From the Creation Club content, Fishing is so so but its for free.

The Farming is Unique and like a Hearthfire Addon.

The Survival Content i believe is worth it and its also lightweight. Otherwise try Nexus Mods ''Sunhelm'' mod and other additions.

If you want more heavy survival Gameplay definitely Nexus options are better.

 

Now a few CC mods i don't quite understand why people would choose them over their Nexus counterparts are the Iceblade of the Monarch and Goldbrand.

Asside from the fact it adds some more Lore related Artifacts associated with Boethiah, it even acts as an Extension to the Vanilla Boethiah Champion Quest, with Exploration of a particular part of the Velothi Mountains, a Dungeon and a Tournament in her Deadric Realm with tough Enemies you have to Duel.

Also it gives you a spell when you cast it you can convert the Blade from 2H to 1H but you can also choose to change Goldbrand to Eltonbrand via a Ritual.

Lastly by powerattacking with it it attacks with Flame just like the Bloodskal blade does from the Dragonborn DLC.

 

Its content is just 100+ times better than CC version.

 

Same author made both forementioned mods but also https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16199 Artifacts - The Breton Paladin featuring the Divine Crusader stuff.

 

So in short, if someone is ready to pay these 3 mods from CC, better off Donate to FrankFamily's Mods.

AE bundle is 74 CC mods sold together. You can't pick and choose which ones you buy.

 

I hadn't noticed that SE is on sale, but the AE bundle is not. Definitely buy SE while it is on sale. You can always add the AE bundle later and you'll still save money.
