Vortex freezes in SWITCHING TO PROFILE: DEFAULT

I installed Vortex and when i try to activate Skyrim, only stays in the screen SWITCHING TO PROFILE: DEFAULT

 

I tried to uninstall, reinstall in another folder, and the problem continue

 

How can i fix this?

Try disabling the extension called "Gamebyro Plugin Management" in the extensions tab, restart Vortex and see if you can switch profile then. If it works something in your setup is interfering with Vortex's ability to read and manage plugins. (You should enable the extension again after testing or you'll have no load order controls)

I disabled and restart the Vortex, but the same thing happens...

I am also having this problem. Vortex hasn't worked for me for over a year, and there seems to be nothing anywhere on how to fix the issue.

This will only fail to load if something in your setup is breaking it. This could be security apps or just a bad configuration in Windows itself.

Hello Everyone,

 

after 2 years i am writing here i know. But can ANYONE provide a solution?? There is literally nothing on the internet and i tried reinstalling, removing extensions first etc.
