Sounds familiar :wink:I do the same for textures. Been doing that for 30 years. (although I've lost most along the way and textures from, say, 10+ years ago aren't useful anymore, as they lack resolution.Back in the 90's, when I created a lot of Star Wars related 3D models (using the good ol' 3DS R2 - R4 under MS-DOS) a 1K texture was extreme. (and what we call 'low-poly' today, was still 'high-poly' back then  )I even had my own website: SWMA.NET, the Star Wars 3D Modeling Alliance. Which was sadly lost back in 2005 during transportation (the server was physically moved to a new ISP, but the harddrive didn't survive. The guy maintaining it did however NOT create a backup :wallbash: and I only had the website backedup myself, not all of the uploaded models... Sketchup was actually one of the first I tried when I started on my FO4 models, as I used it before to create bunkers and such for RTS games (but never succeeded to get any to work properly in a game), but the newer versions put me off.So I started using Blender instead. pepperman35
I used Milkshape 3D and 3ds Max 5 back when I was modding Star Trek Armada and the like. I had done a lot of 2d work with Autocad in school but trying to get my head wrapped around 3d took a bit. In fact, I got so frustrated with it that I quit modding of over a year. Then one day, I tried it again and it clicked...sort off...lol Anyway, 3d warehouse seems to have some decent models in there so it might be worth a refresh. I noticed a few kitchen related models that might be worth a look. I also recently ran across a script to make kitchen cabinets in /max, So many tools, so little time.
