twotonedearly Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Hey all, I just loaded up Skyrim after updating to the Anniversary version and I just noticed there is no mods option on the main menu.
Hannibal139 Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Do you mean mod menus in mcm?. Well isn't mcm dependent on skse and afaik it hasn't been updated for AE yet or it is idk.
showler Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Probably means the in game mod manager for Bethesda.net. Some mods disable that option. Also, I think I read something about the unofficial downgrade patch not including the main menu file or something. SkyUI, the MCM menu and SKSE are all working fine in AE, by the way.

How can I restore it?
showler Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Not sure. Do you have any mods installed? SkyUI? It's missing from my main menu, but is available from the system menu if I load into a game.
twotonedearly Posted December 4, 2021 Author Posted December 4, 2021 yeah I do have mods installed. and running Skyuithis is on the anniversary edition btw
showler Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Yeah, me too. Honestly, I don't know if it's a function of SkyUI or just something about AE itself.

If it is that then you need go to skyrimpreference.ini and change bEnableFileSelection=0 to 1. You will find this line under [launcher] in skyrimpreference.ini and if it is not there put it by yourself there. If i am still wrong :/ then pardon me as i only own le and don't know nothing about se or ae. K
