KingVolkaan
Hi all. First of all. i didnt play skyrim before special edition came. When i first see the ads about skyrim special edition i bought the game and finished it in some hours. Then i never returned for a quite some time. Then i saw an anniversary come out and i decided to buy it on steam. I read the reviews on steam and they are saying that go play "Special edition with mods". Then i search via google then saw amazing videos with mods. It is not a skyrim that i know. So searched some more then i decided to mod my game. First tries was not some success. I broke my game. Mods didn't work. Saves dont work. Game crashes all the time. Thanks to "Nexusmods " and "Youtube" and i learned a bit of modding. What to do , when to do. What is " mod manager" ? What is betsini ? What is enb? Now i have stable modded skyrim. I know that "Modders" are working very hard to catch up the new addition. I am pretty sure that they are doing their best to make our game experince much better. (Thank You. And God Bless You All) But Modding took me sometime. I am a father of two sons and a husband. I can play skyrim or any game about 1 hour in a day. I wanna buy AE for extra content. But I can not catch up the mods that works with anniversary edition. So i need to research every mod to get updated or i need to play SE with mods outdated. So please can you add a game to Games Section for AE in nexusmods.com ? . So we can spend less time to get the mods and supports the modders more effeciently. A page about EA will be works as a start point who wanna play with EA. Sorry for long post but making this will be a great step for the people who is like me to start modding world. Always be happy about yourself. This is the way! . showler
AE is two things. The 1.6 patch and a DLC that you can buy. It's not a different game and Nexus has never made a separate listing for a DLC or patch version I realize you are frustrated, but you are not thinking this through. Tens of thousands of mods are compatible with any version of SSE (including the so-called AE). More are updated every day to be compatible for all versions. What you are asking is for thousands of mod authors to maintain two duplicate mod pages and two duplicate comment sections for all their mods just to save you some time. KingVolkaan
yes i understand that its really annoying for modders and waste of time indeed. At least can they mark modes for AE or some symbol that its compatible with AE in the main page ?
deadeyerich
You may be interested in this web page https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins. It doesn't have everything yet obviously, but it will help in keeping track and loading SKSE mods that have been updated to work with AE. I check it daily. I also just added a comment asking if they could add a sort by date feature which would help.
