AdF312
I've synthesized dialogue lines using xVASynth and produced .wav files.I used Bethesda Archive Extractor (BAE) to extract original player voice male .fuz audio files. So I got the .wav and .lip files from the original game. I took the .lip files, and put them into the same folder as the .wav files I produced. Names have been matched. Then, using the Yakitori Audio Converter, I converted them into .fuz files (with the .lip files). So now I have the .fuz files with replaced audio. I put the .fuz files in a directory: Sound\Voice\Fallout4.esm\PlayerVoiceMale01/ Then I packed the Sound folder in .7z, put the .7z into MO2 downloads folder, and installed it as usual. I ran the game and loaded a save when the Sole Survivor got out of the Cryostasis, but when he started talking, the game crashed. I'm at the end of my rope here. What should I do with the .fuz files in order to replace the original voices? SOLVED! Solution: OK, it's solved. The way to install it that I mentioned in the post is correct. It was just my wav files not having the proper Audio Sample Rate (correct: 44100 Hz) and Audio Bit Depth (correct: pcm_s16le). I also had to produce the .lip files from the .wav files since the new .wav files have different lengths compared to the ones in the original games. Also thanks pepperman35 for the links to the tutorials. Edited December 7, 2021 by AdF312
Zorkaz
This is not the answer you're searching for but forget FUZ files unless maybe it will cover hundreds of lines. It's otherwise not worth the hassle and your time. And your nerves. Dialoguieing is convoluted enough as it is

In fact, it covers 12,602 lines, which are basically all of the voices of the male protagonist from the base game.
pepperman35
Sound files need to go into a proper archive file. A few of kinggath videos from his Bethesday Mod School series might help.
