arrghh!!! the result of rampage-you gotta help me!&#33

during one of my forwarad cyrodil rampages (killed civilian and guard alike) my trigger happy sword sliced roshaan, the owner of a fighting chance in half,i didn't realize it until her body vanised :wallbash: now i cant buy anything from her, how can i bring her back and plz dont say you cant, i'd hate to look through the disappointment

sometimes we are just lucky we can learn the ways of life before experimenting it for 'real'.

 

What's the problem? are you beginning to perceive than the world is an intricate and complex thing and we can blunder a lot in it?

 

I sincerely hope that is the bigger disappointment you have, not that I think it should be. You have not my sympathy, at least you should play the way you choose to do and face your decisions. Most of the really important things in life can't be fixed once messed.

 

Now than the morality lesson was passed :) (like I did believe it would be even understood) you can try opening the console, click the body so to reference it and type resurrect. Or disabling and re-enabling her reference-ID (you will need to search for it)... for me I hope her having a 'memory'.

You killed her, of course she doesn't want to come back. :confused:

 

Anyway There is a solution to your problem.

 

1. hit Esc

2. chose "main menu"

3. pick "NEW GAME"

 

enjoy and have fun with your new life. :biggrin:

Trying to disable/enabling an object that no longer exists (such as a dead npc whose body has been removed by the game) will have no effect and the refID won't work for creating a new instance of an object (I hope that makes sense in English) but only with commands that affect an exisiting ingame object (like the moveto command). To create a new object, you'll have to use the FORMID (1C14C) and not the REFID.

 

 

This should do it:

player.Placeatme 1c14c

 

(of course, if there are any scripts using her reference, they won't affect her anymore as it will be a new object for the game. AI packages should work though ).
