wattbatt
I saw a video of a guy who used this so called "rudy" thing and i'm trying to install that too. For now i don't understand s#*! of what i have to do but thats not the point of the post. There are instructions to install this in the description section:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41482 - rudy ENB I tried to follow all points but to me it seems nothing happened at all, some text about rudy appeared on top left of the main menu and for the rest the game seemed identical to before, if anything since the description made me turn off antialiasing i saw the lack of it. I downloaded the latest ENB binaries available for skyrim LE from boris' website (v 0.467) and i don't understand what to do with these, because at STEP 1 it says to copy ONLY "d3d9.dll" ; "enbhost.exe" ; "enblocal.ini" from the "wrapperversion" folder ; but in that same folder there is also an INSTALL.txt that says to copy EVERYTHING from this folder, not only those 3 files. Which one is the correct explanation? Just to try i did copy everything into skyrim root folder from that "wrapperversion" folder and the game became ugly af. Also i don't understand why there are 6 different files, i picked the one that works with vortex which says "mod manager downolad" for vanilla, and also got the "revamped exterior fog" since it says it's needed. But i don't understand if it was actually working or not because i saw no difference at all than before except that since it made me turn off antialiasing i saw ugly lines and thats all. Is that description up to date? Also in the game menu the enb text says i can bring up another menu with shift+enter, but what do i do with that? showler
Okay, first point: The instructions to "copy ONLY "d3d9.dll" ; "enbhost.exe" ; "enblocal.ini" from the "wrapperversion" folder" are for people who are going to download a preset someone else has made, such as Rudy ENB. The instructions in the text file are for if you intend to create your own preset from scratch. In short: only install those three files as instructed. Second, what mod manager are you using? Installing ENB presets with a mod manager requires special instructions because the files are not meant to be installed in the same location that a normal mod is installed. Vortex has a way of doing this automatically, I think with MO2 you have to do it manually. The different file versions are for compatibility with other mods, each of which is listed with the appropriate file. The in-game menu is so you can tweak the preset to suit your own needs.
