SaintClare
I'm creating a story mod involving NPCs, and when I put them in the world, in the GECK the NPCs' skin color is as it should be (diverse), but in-game they're all the same skin color (caucasian/ white). If anybody knows how to correct this, I'd appreciate the help.

luthienanarion
Convert your plugin to ESM if it contains NPC records.
SaintClare
I ticked "can be all races" for all characters, and used FNVedit to convert the file to esm, now the bodies are the correct shade, but the faces are still the same pale white. SaintClare
I've checked other NPCs in the game, and face skin color is normal, so it's just my characters that are bugging.
GnatGoSplat
Could it be the same problem as I had? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1024150-npc-face-and-skin-textures-too-light-no-makeup/
SaintClare
I changed the .ini file as specified. No change, the heads are still pale. Edited August 24, 2013 by SaintClare
