Wrye Bash doesn't start

I installed Wrye Bash using the installer. The problem is that it doesn't start. Double-clicking on the application brought up a small square window with Wrye Bash logo. Then I waited for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. The window remained on my screen and couldn't be closed, so I had to restart my PC.

The installation location is as follows.

Program Filesï¼x86ï¼> GOG Galaxy > Games > Oblivion > Mopy

I was warned that installing in this location could cause problems, so I followed the Readme to give full control permission for the oblivion folder.

About a month ago, I have installed Wrye Bash once, but never used it and immediately uninstalled it. Perhaps there were unnecessary files left at that time. But I don't know what it is.

Does anyone know a solution?

I'm not good at English, so I'm sorry if it's hard to understand.

You should better install Oblivion outside Program files.

Seconded.

Windows has security features that prevents most changes to the Program Files folders. Wrye Bash would not be able to do its thing in there.
