Drivinghard
it's really sad to see unusable constructions and platforms because of this ePIDEMIC of NPC's falling through the COLLISION of workshop placed objects like floors, and those phony foundATIoN bloCKS! like how are these things even alowed to be destributed if NPC's fall through them?like... Has anybody found any CONSOLE COMMANDS which will INCREASE the collision of objects ie., FLOOR tiles and FOUNDATION blocks?? thanks a lot, surprised this wasn't the FIRST priority in making blocks in the first place ;( (attention modders: floor tiles and foundation blocks are NOT fasttravel devices!) chicholino
never had any issues with my npc's falling but I use like 4-5 cleaning mods and in castle when I clean stuff there is empty space but I cover it quickly, I use many cleaning mods to clean while I'm out my settlement, so much junk in the streets and debree/cars so i just delete them while i'm traveling, if these npc's didn't clean them in 200 years that I was frozen they sure ain't gonna clean them now that i'm out lol
Zorkaz
NPCs usually won't fall through them. Unless there is navmesh on the ground, but no navmesh on the object themselves. Then NPCs might momentarily get positioned to the nearest navmesh
RoNin1971
They function fine here, most of the time. Things tend to go awry when you stack them and such. NPC's can be dropped onto a navmeshed piece of ground, stuck insde a foundation which is (high) above it when traveling to a settlement, but haven't seen them falling through. But to answer the question: No. There isn't & you can't scale them with nifskope either. Only if you scale the entire object, in-game, the collision will come along, afaik. The game doesn't handle navmeshed area's on top of each other very well, where the bottom one is no longer accessible due to the top one's height or form (like foundations). Only if they are close to each other (like a floor piece on the ground) the game will correct itself. (You can see the character move a bit upwards, to the top navmesh/collision) but it will just as easy spawn a NPC inside a concrete foundation which sticks out high above ground (or when stacked)
