Need help desperately.

Hi, I am ultra new to modding and do everything essentially through vortex for SSE. Suddenly today I got the application state is invalid error message. I tried clicking the backup and restore many times, but everytime it opens again the error message pops up again. Furthermore i can't open the game through SKSE that is installed on vortex anymore... Any help is extremely appreciated. I am at a complete loss of what to do. The last thing I did was launch the nemesis program and everything was fine.

I've hidden RumblestrutPig's unhelpful reply. I believe you have been able to resolve this yourself based on (what I assume are) your comments in the support Discord server.

 

 

I think i solved it. Deleted one of the mods i had and everything became fine

Basically, somehow your mod list got corrupted (there are many possible reasons for this) but when you deleted a mod that updated it and may have automatically fixed the issue - or the mod you removed was causing the problem.
