Vortex doesn't recognise that manually installed file is one of the latest version

The mod KS Hairdos SSE has 3 main files (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6817?tab=files) and they all have different version numbers: 1.8, 1.8F and 1.8M.

 

I manually downloaded and installed one of them, KS Hairdos SSE - Female (v1.8F), using Vortex.

 

I use Guess ID to link the mod to the nexus page and have Vortex check for updates.

 

It says that it can be updated to v1.8.

 

How do I get Vortex to recognize the currently installed version is already one of the latest version?

This is related to how the uploader decided to upload their files. You can only mark one mod file as the latest. You can use this extension if the icon is bothering you: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/171
