[LE] Skyrim SE: Papyrus compilation fails with "Unknown user flag Hidden" - TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg missing

Recommended Posts

Hi, i try to create a new script in CK64 but it fails with the general exception message: "<unknown>(0,0): Unable to find flags file: TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg"

For the specific file i get the error message: "Unknown user flag Hidden". I tried this with a new script and it just doesn't want to compile. I've already

unzipped the "Scripts.rar" to my skyrim data folder which seems to fix this for a lot of user but for me it doesn't. The file "TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" does exist but is not recognized?

Is this a problem with Mod Organizer 2?

Hi, your tips helped me getting up and running with scripting but sometimes i get this error when i added my script to a quest and then edited the properties:

What triggers this error because when paste in the whole source of my code agaein i can recompile. It seems like CK forgets the script at some point.

I have... it just made a backup copy of the script, that fail to compile.. Why it failed is the question?? It sorta like an exception it could be anything whatsoever cause it.. Peeps cannot help with this ERROR, the user on his on. Glad you work it out. I first saw in Oldrim with YEAH MO too.... It what made me give up on using MO for CK, It unnecessary muddies the water... Bloke creating in virtual environment is unnecessary, and make the buggy CK more so.

I aware it can be done.. and... has it not complicated it works fine. As soon as there an issue, it falls apart. As you found out doing in the real world did fix the problem SINCE there was no problem to fix, it just worked.

To the READER: The Error in this case is cause by Virtualisation Errors that create CK Exceptions, in the way the Creation Kit create its own Virtual Environment when loading data into it. Conflicting with MO Environment, it cannot be fixed.. The Fix is restart both or do it the real world.. and have no problems.

The best way to repeat this Error is create a new script with CK so MO place it somewhere in it Environment. Does the Compiler knows where it is? Or has MO environment been refreshed in the eyes of the CK virtual environment? Unnecessarily Dirty Dirty Dirty for no gain.
