logansleftnut
I am just getting into modding fallout 4 on pc after spending years modding it on xbox, modding skyrim on xbox, and then swapping to pc and modding skyrim and fallout nv for some time.I am no stranger to modding or computers, and usually fix problems after bashing my head against it for a few days or maybe a week. This problem however apparently has no fix what so ever?????My fallout 4 is apparently closing itself at 80 degrees everytime and there is no patch or mod to disable this as my computer can easily crush the requirements of this game, I get somewhere between 200 and 300 fps on this game at the settings I'm at, which isn't anything heavy either. My computer never really exceeds 90 and I've read and been told that so long as I keep it under 90 my hardware should be fine. Please help, I am ripping my hair out over this. I am currently going through all of my mods to check manually on their mod pages if the requirements are met and downloading patches, but it runs fine until it force closes.Specs: Processor IntelĀ® Core i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzInstalled RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Load Order:All DLC without texture pack from BethesdaUFO4P - Agony - Agony Unof. HeyYou
Fallout 4 is closing out when your CPU temp hits 80?? If that's the case, it isn't the game doing that. It's either a bios problem, or a windows problem.
logansleftnut
Fallout 4 is closing out when your CPU temp hits 80?? If that's the case, it isn't the game doing that. It's either a bios problem, or a windows problem. From what I read on other forums and elsewhere on this one and on youtube, this is a common problem that people use MSI Afterburner to fix by detecting the temp of the pc and throttling the fans when it gets to 75. Additionally, this is the only game this happens with. No others. Not even other bethesda games, not even modern bethesda games like skyrim AE
