Dashe326
I am receiving an I/O error (21) at every startup of Vortex. I am currently running version 1.4.16 It keeps trying to check a disk that I don't have plugged in, and I am unable to find a way to stop it from checking this disk. Is there a config or setting that can be changed to stop it from checking specific drives, or can I disable scanning entirely?
Pickysaurus
Hmm this might actually be a bug in the Origin game support. Remove the game via Origin and see if it reoccurs.
Dashe326
Remove the game via Origin and see if it reoccurs. Oddly enough, the game isn't installed. Origin doesn't detect it, and I haven't logged in or used it for probably 5 years.
Solution Pickysaurus Posted January 26, 2022 Solution Share Posted January 26, 2022 So Origin likely left some files behind. https://modding.wiki/en/vortex/developer/game-detection#originea-play ^ In C:\ProgramData\Origin\LocalContent there will be a .mfst file pointing to that location. Dashe326
Getting rid of that file worked. Thanks!!
