IcePenguinWorldMap.esp depends on Dragonborn.esm

I haven't tried to play Skyrim in at least 6 years. I bought it on Steam, app/72850/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim/ is the variant I own. I installed that, then installed Vortex 1.4.17 from GitHub, then installed Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) through Steam, and then got two mods:

I got each by using the nexus website's Vortex download button, those seemed to install fine, are shown as Enabled right now.

However, presently I have one alert "Missing Masters" that when I click the more button says:

IcePenguinWorldMap.esp depends on Dragonborn.esm

From my searching it seems most people want me to buy some type of DLC to fix this, which I'd prefer not to buy anything additional, and don't even see any DLCs besides the soundtrack on Steam anyhow. Can I use both of those mods with the variant of the game I installed from Steam and if so, how do I need to configure it to handle this alert?

See where the "A Quality World Map" says "and Solstheim"? That's because it includes the area from the Dragonborn DLC. You can't use it without that DLC.

 

If you don't want to buy the DLC, then look for a map mod that does not require it.

Thank you for pointing that out. Having never completed the game I didn't know if that was base game content or not.

If you aren't going to have the DLC you should check the requirements section for every mod. A great many mods assume you have the Legendary Edition which includes all the original DLCs. The game is often referred to as Skyrim LE because of that assumption.
