It seems like there is a hard cap of ~1.5mb/s on every download I make. They do sometimes go even slower, but indifferent to how many downloads I run simultaneously they all just hover around ~1.5mb/s.

From the look of your results, changing you preferred location to "Premium CDN" (or just "CDN") will allow you to download.

My location is on "CDN" already. I am still limited to 1,5 mb/s as I did mention in my post. I have went through every download server. Although the download test goes to ~7.5 mb/s which would be acceptable, actually downloading any file doesn't go higher than 1.5.

If you're downloading via a mod manager, try downloading manually.

 

I'm unsure what would cause that problem, unless it's with one specific file that is currently in high demand.

It is not a high demand mod, this happens with every mod. It is repeatable with all files, indifferent of what I am using, be it Mod Organizer 2, my browser or a dedicated download manager software. At this point I can only assume that my download speed is somehow limited as if I am a free user.

I can assure you, if your account shows as Premium on the site, you're not getting capped.

 

There's a much higher chance your ISP is interfering with the traffic somehow. Perhaps try a VPN?

I do have two ISPs however(due to occasional outages in one or the other) and both act in the same way... if you could point me to a free decent VPN it'd be great. This download speed issue only occurs on nexusmods and it's really a bummer as I was able to download at good speeds two or three years ago..

Not running on a dell computer by any chance are you? If so, check and see if smartbyte software is installed. If it is, uninstall it.

Computer is a custom build I made a few years ago. It has no weird software and not even an antivirus. GPU Fan management software, Discord and Brave are the only programs that run constantly.
