Crim, The Red Thunder
First off, if have finished the main quest up to the point of being given immunity to all diseases by a certain telvanni wizard, then can i still become a vampire or werewolf by being attacked and contracting the disease? (sounds redundant i know, but i didnt even FIND a vampire until i had already gone through a WHOLE lot of the game... i had already been given the glove tool of the heart. Secondly, i seem to recall vampires becoming immune to disease as well... can a vampire complete the main quest? (since you have to catch a disease in the process.) does anyone know? Kaningutten
You can still become a werewold through the bloodmoon story, but if you want to become a vampire you'll have to use the console: player->addspell "vampire blood clanname" instead of 'clanname' just type in the name of the clan you want to join, either aundae, berne or quarra... Maybe you could also use a potion or spell or something that lowers your disease resistance, too, and then be infected by a vampire! The console command for werewolf is: player->addspell "werewolf blood" You can't finish the main quest as a vamp, as people will attack you/not talk to you. You could use a mod, such as Vampire Embrace to change this! Vampire Embrace is really cool btw! B)
NCBeachBum
You can still become a werewold through the bloodmoon story, but if you want to become a vampire you'll have to use the console: Not true, I'm afraid. As has been pointed out many times before, all you need do to become a vamp after being cured of corprus is to make a spell that casts 100% weakness to disease on self. Then cast it, and go fight some vamps.
Crim, The Red Thunder
I was referring to "Can a vampire catch the corprus disease in ilunibi?" i dont know if that bypasses resistance or not...
Peregrine
It should, since it's both a quest effect and a special disease. Just like a "cure common disease" effect will do nothing to corprus, because it isn't a common disease.
