Vortex targetting the wrong folder path (english versus french folder name problem)

Hi,

 

Please help. Sorry for my poor english, I will try to be as clear as it is possible.

 

I'm trying to install Vortex and mods for Skyrim VR. But I got immediatelly lots of notifications of error, and it seems to be related to my typical folder name that are in french (by default on my computer) for some of them. Here below are the error that I got:

 

1- An error occurred activating profile : "Files are missing or not writeable" / "C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\Skyrim VR\Skyrim.ini" and same for "...\SkyrimVR.ini"

But those two path are wrong because my SkyrimVR folder is somewhere else: "C:\Fichiers de programme (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SkyrimVR. That was the folder (by default) used by Steam when I installed the game.

 

Then when trying to download Current VR build from Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)

 

Loose files may not get loaded: "Due to oddities in the game engine, some loose files will not get loaded unless we change the filetime on the vanilla BSA/BA2 files. There is no drawback to doing this."

No comment from me about that, because I don't understand.

 

Download failed: "Certificate has expired. code CERT_HAS_EXPIRED"

You need to start the game at least once before modding it.

 

The certificate error is usually down to your local security software
