MrMod89
Hello, I am having an aggravating problem with the creation kit. Every time I try to make/compile/edit a script, it says, "Unable to launch compiler." I run Windows 8 64-bit. I am on the verge of tears, because no matter what I do, it won't cooperate. Here is what my ScriptCompile.bat file says: "C:\Projects\TESV\Build\PC\Papyrus compiler\PapyrusCompiler.exe" %1 -f="TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" -i="C:\Projects\TESV\Build\Source\DLC01\Scripts" -o="C:\Projects\TESV\Build\PC\Data\Scripts" pause If it helps, my skyrim location is at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Any help? IsharaMeradin
Try verifying your Creation Kit with Steam then re-edit your SkyrimEditor.ini file as necessary. I don't know anything about Windows 8, but with Vista & 7 installing games to Program Files directory can be problematic when it comes to applying any modifications. If you still can't get it to work, you MAY want to consider moving Steam and all associated programs to a different directory such as C:\Games
