Skyrim AE just Freezes for no reason (both modded and unmodded).

So I installed Skyrim AE, gave it a proper installation and mod installation, with MO2 as my favorite mod loader. after I installed everything and made sure everything is loading properly and has no conflicts.
The game would start, I would choose the start by boat to solitude (I play with LOTD and LAL), it tells me the prompt to enable survival mode, i choose no, then the game plays for a bit and then it FREEZES, it froze so hard that I actually had to restart the computer.

Ok so there are issues, i tried deleting some mods that maybe in the comments sections of said mods said it might be incompatible with Skyrim AE. did it again, started in solitude and now i could actually get into that museum to start the LOTD quest, but when i went exploring a bit, it FROZE again! it was a pain to get rid of it but i didnt need to restart the computer.

So then I thought "ok, maybe its one mod that freezes the game" so i disabled every mod i had installed except for USSEP and LAL and of course SKSE. back to solitude docks, i played for some minutes and guess what, it froze yet again! at least now the game had the decency of easily disable it through the process manager.

Now I did it again without USSEP or LAL, started a new character (every of these runs was with a new character btw) and did the whole helgen intro without any issues, got out of the helgen cave and started exploring and everything is going well and then suddently, it yet again Froze to my disdain. at that point i thought maybe SKSE was the culprit of it. since thats the only modded thing in the game so far now, I deleted SKSE and would you just believe it, after a little while after escaping the helgen cave, it froze to my sheer frustration.

So yeah, the game itself in its vanilla form just freezes and i have no clue what could it be causing it, i thought maybe survival mode caused it but there was no fix after deleting it, I also verified the files and it did nothing to the issue, legitimately the only solution i can think of now is to downgrade the game pre AE, and thats gonna suck a bit since i have to downgrade some mods to work on that version. I've seen people complain about this specific issue sometimes with black screen (which has happened to me in some of these freezes too) for months and aparently there was an update that would fix that, well that update end up doing jack s*** i guess.

Wish someone could let a hand somehow, because the game is just unplayable with those freezes.

EDIT: Sorry for the wall of text btw, but I felt i had to show the whole ordeal i went through

I really doubt its hardware issues.

Because while my PC is old:
-I7 3770k
-GTX 650ti
-16GB of Ram DDR3

I know its not my PC because and I forgot to mention this, if I restart and load a save (if I made any) after the game froze, it would freeze up almost immediately, like in seconds. Which is something i see people talk about whenever they refer to those freezes after AE got released.

And 2, when the game freezes, the computer is still going on fine, hell it isnt even taking that much memory on the task manager, even that time i had to restart the computer when I alt tab I could see other processes and window stuff was working just fine, i had to restart because when Skyrim freezes it takes control of your mouse and i didnt know exactly what to do to get rid of it that time.

EDIT: So far its just been freezes, you know screen gets frozen or goes black and you still hear the music and sound in the background, no CTDs or ILSs.

For the Game to cause this provided you are on 1.6.342 at least (some earlier versions had black screen issues) or latest 1.6.353 its almost impossible.

At first as recommended above i would check Task Manager. You can always find background tasks going on during that time and eliminate them.

I would make sure PC isn't performing a System Image Backup and make sure to control these processes. I do the Backup task Weekly. I would check Firewall and other Tasks/ Resources used especially Anti Viruses.

I wouldn't run an Anti Virus while playing as long as i can make sure my system is protected.

I would perform a memory Defragmentation. I do this check every 2-3 months or so sometimes i need to do it sometimes not. After that i would make a check, every month of Visual Studio/ Java/ NetFramework/ Drivers and other apps to make sure everything is working correctly or even updated. I would also take a look into Browsers and possible Auto Updates.

Lastly Hardware resource managements and status to make sure everything is ok. PSU/ Disk Drives/ Temperature etc.

If all the above works correctly then i would try a simple System Restore Point, going up to date quickly. Should take an hour at max and retest.

But before any of this i would try a Steam Re-Installation of Skyrim while also making sure all the above work indeed correctly.

Others have already given good advice on possible hardware issues. These would very likely occur with other software (especially other games), too, So, what about other games? Do they crash as well?

If they don't and the computer seems to work otherwise, you can delete the whole Skyrim SE folder and redownload the game from Steam.

Why delete? Disabling or uninstalling mods doesn't necessarily mean you really got a "clean" setup. There may still be some left over parts of previously installed mods that cause this issue. If you delete the whole Skyrim SE folder, these remnants will be gone for sure.

For your first tests after a complete reinstall, don't install anything else. Just try to play the game without any mods and see how it goes. If the Vanilla game is stable, you can start adding mods again (prefereably one by one or in small batches, always with testing).

In bethesda games they dont crash some few minutes after playing

Fallout 4 For example, yes it doesnt run that great but it without mods it runs fine, with the really rare CTD hours after playing, of course with mods there's more of a chance it happens.

So I'll do a clean install and see if it fixes it.
