TheRealFresh Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Im playing Fallout 4 and my field of view keeps resetting to default when i go into and out of a workstation, sit in a chair, load save etc. I tried to change the fov in the INI but it doesnt even change the fov so i have to do it through the console with the FOV command. This happens in both 1st and 3rd person. Anyone have an idea of wtf is happening? This has never been a problem for me before. I have severe motion sickness so i cant play on default fov (70) and having to change it back manually is a slog on my enjoyment because its so annoying.
HeyYou Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Use the console to set your field of view, then do saveini. That *should* make the change permanent. If you are using Mod Organizer 2, it uses ini files in a non-standard location, so, editing the file in your My games folder likely won't do anything.
